The International Seminar "Improving Productivity in the Compact Wood Industry" was held on 23 October at the Faculty of Natural Resources of TMU.
The lecturer was Prof. Dr. Heiko Thoemen of the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland.
Professor Thoemen is one of the most renowned professors in the field of Wood Compact Industry and conducts specialized scientific-educational courses entitled Wood-based Panels: Process Technology in Europe. In his speech, he outlined a set of parameters that influence the improvement of productivity in the pressed wood industry.
At the end, he also visited the Natural Resources faculty laboratories and workshops of Wood and Paper Industries.
